Price Guide

All BEAR BONE knives are hand made by Rick Smith from start to finish. BEAR BONE knives are fabricated from:

ATS 34 High grade stainless steel
154CM and 440 C Stainless steels
01 Tool steel, 5160, 1095, 1084 carbon steels
Carbon Damascus steel (requires individual pricing)

Blades can be mirror polished, satin finished or patina aged based on preference or use. There is no extra charge for satin finishes. Unusual or unique knife style patterns require individual pricing.

PRICES FOR SPECIAL FEATURES:

Decorative spine file work add $12.00 per inch (some intricate patterns are more)
Tang file work add $12.00 per inch (some intricate patterns are more)
Decorative guard file work add $12.00 per inch (some intricate patterns are more)
Decorative mosaic pins add $5.00 each
Curved or "S" style hand forged guards $75.
Other specialized features priced on demand
Patina blade finish price depends on the size of the knife. It's a difficult hand rubbed process
Satin Finish: no additional charge
Blade Etchings: Texas Ranger badge, standing elk, beaver or paisley scroll are $15. each
Sharpened false edges add $40.
